The key to successful fishing in the Amazon always starts with water levels. This can be a real challenge for fixed-base lodges. Anglers in these locations are limited to the waters near the lodge, regardless of how good or bad the fishing conditions are.

Before we start to talk about the mobility that a mothership has, as an outfitter, one of our favorite benefits is the safety and security that this system offers. Fully self-contained, we practically have a mobile lodge that offers everything from luxury accomodations to comfortable dining and bar areas to observation decks and more.

The mobility of a mothership allows us to have a flexible itinerary, only going where the water levels and fishing conditions are best. This also dramatically reduces the drive time on the fishing boats. This is all about maximizing your experience, being respectful of your time, and giving you the very best fishing our program has to offer.

The NOMAD Mothership is truly one of the finest vessels in the Amazon basin. There is nothing like it. 3 levels, 8 roomy double or single-occupancy staterooms and 2 large deluxe double rooms, each with individual air conditioners, private baths, and hot water showers. Even rarer than hot water baths, but all the water on board is filtered and safe to drink. Exceptional cuisine, professional bartenders, and our gracious crew add the personal touches that make this experience special.

Other amenities include a jacuzzi tub on the top observation deck and a full-sized elevator for easy access to the entire ship!

Since the NOMAD is a barge-style ship, she has an extremely shallow draft: 80 cm fully loaded! This significantly opens up areas of our rivers that would previously require a long boat ride in your fishing boat.
